Within the pharmacy profession, Dr. Fagbote helped launch the All-In APPE scholarship program which awards underrepresented minority students the opportunity to receive training and mentorship at BMC via a 12-week rotation experience with reimbursable expenses. Through his work with the committee, Dr. Fagbote has organized formal training on cultural competence for pharmacy staff, implemented changes in the residency screening tool to reduce implicit bias within recruitment, and has led outreach efforts to pharmacy schools across the country.
